I rode my bike today

It was the first time I’ve ridden a bike in a long time.  Definitely since my knee surgery which was in November, but also probably a few months before that.  My old house was at the top of an incredibly steep hill, which afforded one of the most beautiful views of Los Angeles, but also was a strong detriment against any sort of bike riding, because the hill had to be walked up pushing a bike and I am lazy.  However, now that I live in “the gut of LA” where it is nice and flat and I can roll right out my door and make a quick jaunt to the Mac Store at the Grove to by a hard drive, I am finally talking advantage of all the 90036 has to offer.  I’m excited for more of it.
