I am extremely sad to write that my beloved grandfather, Jack Fleischer, passed away yesterday at the age of 90.  He was truly one of the greatest people I’ve ever known. I am lucky to have had him in my life for so long. He was always smiling, happy, and optimistic. It was a pleasure and an honor to have him attend the premiere of Zombieland only a few weeks ago, where my whole family was together to celebrate the film as well as my brother’s engagement.

Jack was incredibly full of life, and always had a song in his heart.  Every year for the last three years, he recorded an album, and the attached video is a short documentary my brother made about the making of the first one.
